The Santa Maria Philharmonic Society presents the unique and artistic concert, Piano for Six Hands at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 8pm.
Piano for Six Hands is exactly what it sounds like –three pianists playing at one piano at one time. Successful and talented soloist pianists Anna & Kirill Gliadkovsky will join forces with their virtuoso thirteen year-old daughter Anastassia to offer something fairly uncommon: They perform music for four hands and for six, as well as solos on one piano. The concert will contain a wide range of selections – from Mozart to Gershwin to a six-handed arrangement from West Side Story. For tickets, call 805-489-9444 or visit www.clarkcenter.org.
