Physics Circus - The Physics is Right! March 12, 2007

The Mayborn Museum Complex invites our members to attend the CASPER (Center for Astrophysics, Space Physics and Engineering Research) Physics Circus, The Greatest Physics Circus on Earth!

Geared for students 5th-8th grades, The Greatest Physics Circus on Earth is much more than just a catchy phrase to announce a spectacular event. Based on science explorations, physics demonstrations, hands-on interactive displays, theatrical performances, and excellent teaching experiences, the CASPER Physics Circus will be in all reality The Greatest Physics Circus on Earth!

The Physics is Right! science theater will simulate the famous game shows The Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Price Is Right. Students will guess prices, spin the big wheel, and play board games to try to win prizes.

After the CASPER Physics Circus show, students will have the opportunity to visit the Physics Fun House where they will can examine demonstrations and learn how physics and the universe interconnect.

The Mayborn Museum is proud to offer free admission to this event for our valued museum members on a first-come first-served basis. Members are allowed to reserve up to 6 tickets. An adult is required to accompany each child to this dynamic presentation.

Please call Misty at (254) 710-1180 to reserve your seat. Tickets which are not claimed 15 minutes prior to the show start time will be released to our museum visitors as a guest benefit. Remember to bring your camera and make memories of this fun time with your family!
