PHP Global Fundraiser at Ellwood's Coffee January 26, 2010

Make sure to stay up extra late on Tues. Jan. 26th because it is SUPER IMPORTANT that you stop into Ellwood Thompson's coffee shop for your caffeine fix on Wed. Jan. 27th. Here, you can support a charitable cause while sipping on your greatly needed cup of Joe.

You may wonder why this is so important? Well the answer is that Ellwood Thompson's coffee shop and the non-profit organization, People Helping People Global are partnering up on this very date to host an all day charity event!

All day long the Ellwood Thompson's Coffee shop staff will be working extra hard to fulfill all customers needs. In addition, if you are in the mood for a little shopping (the kind that you do not have to feel guilty about), the founders of PHP Global will be selling hand crafted artisan products from Nicaragua. All of the proceeds from their sales will go directly into the organization's economic development projects in that region.

From 7-9pm the party will ramp up. Free HOT food will be provided by the Ellwood Thompson's staff, and People Helping People with take over the music by introducing popular international music from Central America.

Please feel free to stop in during these closing hours to enjoy the special ambiance. While your there, make sure to treat yourself to a craft beer or a nice glass of merlot to end the day right. Ellwood is donating a portion of the nights proceeds to People Helping People Global as well.
