The ING New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world, taking runners through each of New York City's five boroughs and finishing in Central Park. We'll scope out the marathon action and then explore Central Park. The foliage should be pretty near peak and, hopefully, the weather will cooperate!
We will meet on the southwest corner of E 90th St and 5th Ave. From there, we will walk 1 block to Park Dr. I am told that there are decent vantage points along Park Drive between 86th St and 90th St. From there, we have easy access to the cross-park transverse road at 85th St.
