Photoshop is one of the most powerful tools photographers have besides the camera itself. In this introductory class, we will demystify this sometimes overwhelming software, and learn a basic workflow which will allow each student to explore the creative possibilities of their own images. From elementals such as sizing and cropping, to color correction and B&W conversion, to making selections for local correction, each class will move to the next step in the process, culminating in making a print. Besides the nuts and bolts of how to use each tool, we will also concentrate on creating a unique vision from the raw materials of the digital files. Some fun creative effects will round out the course.
