Beyond Capture Workshop:
Re-Seeing your Original Image!
March 7-8, 2009

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you find that your photographs fall short of expressing how beautiful the moment
was while you were there experiencing it?
If so, then this is an excellent opportunity to take your photography to a new level.
The focus of this workshop is "Re-Seeing your image". Learn skills and techniques
that will dramatically improve your photography whether you are interested in the
most delicate of adjustments or desire to take your creativity beyond.
The workshop is an intermediate/advanced workshop, and prior familiarity with Photoshop
is recommended. The knowledge learned in this class will enable you the freedom
to express yourself with unlimited possibilities.
The principles taught during this workshop apply to all type of photography, ranging
from landscape, portraiture, macro, abstract and wildlife.
At the end of the workshop, you'll have a foundation for image editing, including
a working knowledge of color management, workflow, image evaluation, global and
localize editing using layer and layer mask. It is an intense "hands-on" two day
workshop concluding with a final print.
Feedback from past participants:
Dear Larry, Robert, and Oliver,
Well, this morning I wanted to solidify what I learned over the weekend, and I am
very proud (and extremely happy!!) that I could produce a copy (although an inferior
one) of Robert's B&W conversion of my gorilla image. I used 9 layers and did
it in less than 30 minutes. :-D
I am sooooooooo happy just to be able to do this, and to do it quickly!!!
Thank you all so very much. This workshop was transformative for me, and I will
look forward to working with you in future workshops.
All the best, Sue
