Phoenix, Freaks, Fire, Firkin & Funk October 30, 2009

Put on your Halloween best and join Water Street Glassworks, The Phoenix Cafe and The Livery for a fun event in Benton Harbor's Arts District.

We'll start at The Phoenix (6 pm) with freaky coffee drinks to rev-you-up for the short walk to Water Street Glassworks for a 'fire-eee!' Halloween-themed, molten glass show.

This demo begins at 7 pm and will be performed by the Glassworks' own Jerry Catania and friends. The artists will demonstrate the making of a spooky hand-blown drinking vessel of which a similar version will be awarded for Best Costume at The Livery stage at 8:00.

The winner can use this ghoulish creation for one free fill from the "Freakin' Firkin" keg of Livery brewed beer.

The rest of the night we will freak-it-up on the Livery's dance floor to some great Funk music.
