Phillip Wade and his Students November 10, 2007

Phillip Wade has taught countless painters here in Austin. Some of the best ones here got their bearings from his classes. Jennifer Balkan speaks highly of him. Phillip is a gentleman and respectful of his subjects and of the paint itself. He is one of the original Austin Figurative Project painters from the old Gutterkitty days. He did the Austin Fine Arts Association's Art After Dark painting demo and the La Dolce Vita painting demo. And he painted the Spankdance girls for the AFP Spandance colaboration.

He will be showing along with his work, the work of some of his students. Or 'posse' if you will.

He's also a snappy dresser.
