One of America's most celebrated writers, Philip Roth (Portnoy's Complaint, The Plot Against America) will be "appearing" via the Internet on Tuesday, September 16 at 7 p.m. in the Kitzinger Community Room at the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road.
In a groundbreaking event, the 75-year old Roth will broadcast the author "tour" for his new novel Indignation to selected sites. His appearance is being co-sponsored by Williamsburg Regional Library and The College of William and Mary Bookstore. A small number of signed copies of Indignation will be available for sale.
Free tickets for the program are available at the Adult Services desks of the Williamsburg Library, 515 Scotland Street, and the James City County Library. Seating is limited and those not holding tickets will be seated at 6:45 p.m. if space is available.
