Philip Glass, Pianist: Book of Longing October 9, 2007

'Book of Longing' is the consummation of longstanding mutual admiration between iconoclast composer Philip Glass and Leonard Cohen, the profound poet and folk musician. Performed by an elite ensemble of musicians and vocalists, with Philip Glass on keyboard, this West Coast premiere also showcases Cohen's artwork and is staged by MacArthur Fellow and choreographer Susan Marshall.
