Queens Theatre in the Park (QTP) presents Philadanco on Saturday, May 15 at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday, May 16 at 3pm at Queens Theatre in the Park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Flushing, NY. Tickets are $41 on May 15 at 2pm and $44 on May 15 at 8pm and May 16 at 3pm. Discounted tickets are available through multi-show, senior and student discounts (ranging from $21-$42). Philadanco brings to Queens Theatre their fusion of ballet, modern, and ethnic dance. The Philadelphia company is well-known for the high-powered energy of its heart-pumping performances. The Washington Post said of Philadanco that they “…leap like arrows in flight, spin, stretch, kick and melt like hot wax.” The Reading Eagle said that the company is “…powerful, courageous, exuberant and technically flawless!” A free talkback with the company follows the performance.
