One of Australia's major national newspapers published a story on Phil K a coon's age ago. The excerpt attempted to capture the essence of the man that leads the breakbeat bombardment from the land down below. When questioned about his motivations in life, Phil K shrugged nonchalantly and mentioned that he just wanted to make music.. Nine years later he's still making beats. and he's making them well.

The term "pioneer" is brandied about too readily in dance music; however, for this man, there is no other word in the English language to summarize what he has done. Born, bred, and based in Melbourne, Phil has been racking up frequent flyer miles since '85; dropping wicked progressive house and breakbeats like it's his family business.. If I were you, I'd do myself a favor and kiss-up to my boss now. You may need
a couple of extra hours sleep to rest your tired feet come July 5th.
