Phase V Group Show November 9, 2007

Located in the thriving Chicago Art District in east Pilsen, 4Art was one of the first galleries in the area. Owner Robin Rios has gained respect in the community among artists and businesses alike for her skills and passion. As an artist herself, she understands the need for artists to gain prolonged exposure in order to be recognized in today’s art world. 4Art’s six month residency program allows a dozen artists to rotate new work for each of the six months, and allows gallery visitors to see the journey each artist’s work travels throughout that time. Beginning in November, Phase V includes several returning artists from the previous phase, and also many new artists.
Artists who display at 4Art work in many mediums, from textiles to terra cotta, and from watercolor to graphic design. Each of the resident members are working artists and are dedicated to their work. Although there are many Chicago artists within the group, artists with work shown in 4Art live as far away as Alabama, Connecticut, even Poland. Nevertheless, each month promises a fresh set of work from resident artists.

The November show also features guest artist Melissa Kolbusz of wired. Her jewelry is handmade from recycled materials, offering an edgy addition to your Holiday stocking. This season, there is nothing like an original piece of art as a remarkable gift which will be a part of the family for generations.
As the rotating exhibits give the gallery space a subtle makeover each month, 4Art offers an exciting yet intimate place to hold holiday occasions, wedding receptions, fundraising events, or corporate meetings and parties, among others. 4Art also offers service in custom framing.
