“Phanatical Phantastical!” will be a 90 minute show that features a variety of acts, ranging from fabric, single point trapeze, rope, hoop, magic and juggling . Announced performers so far include Kendra Greaves, Niff Nicholls and Jackie Zalewski.
Greaves is an internationally acclaimed aerialist and circus artist. Her specialties are corde lisse (vertical rope) and tissu (fabric). She has a very unique and dynamic style, but her years of training and performing experience, coupled with her super-hero type strength, allow her to create acts on any apparatus that can suit any client’s or show’s needs and desires. Nicholls has been studying aerial skills since July 2007. Over the past two years she been striving to refine her craft and hone her skills as an instructor, paying careful attention to form and direction in every aspect of each apparatus. Zalewski has been performing professionally as a dancer, singer, actor, and model since she was a small child. She has been a member of the Rockettes, and worked with world-class opera companies and national musical tours. Performance venues have included the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, off-Broadway theaters in New York, dinner theaters and Fringe festivals. She holds a special place in her heart for her band, Gyptian, which has played at RenFaires and Celtic Festivals all over the Mid-Atlantic region.
Funds generated from the “Phanatical Phantastical!” will help the school purchase new lights and equipment. Tickets for the 7:00pm family friendly show are $15 per adult and $10 per child.
