"I love Pete's Candy Store. I love to read at Pete's Candy Store. I love to listen to other people read at Pete's Candy Store. I love to drink a few beers after a reading at Pete's Candy Store. The writers are some of my favorite writers. The beer is some of my favorite beer. Pete's Reading Series is top of the heap, though I have yet to encounter any fucking candy."
- Sam Lipsyte, author, Home Land
