One of the most respected guitar players of all time, Peter Frampton has always made challenging, interesting and critically-acclaimed albums. Beginning with British bands The Herd and Humble Pie, Frampton quickly cemented his status as a world-class guitar hero and singer. The 1976 double album, 'Frampton Comes Alive,' was the biggest selling live-rock album ever at that time. The Doobie Brothers are pioneers of the California rock 'n' roll sound of the '70s. Formed in Oakland, the band evolved from a mellow, post-hippie boogie band to a slick, soul-inflected pop band by the end of the decade. Along the way, they racked up a string of gold and platinum albums, along with a number of radio hits like 'Listen to the Music,' 'Black Water' and 'China Grove.'
