Peter Evans excels at both contemporary classical and improvisatory jazz. His latest work emphasizes his astoundingly musical trumpet-playing. Colin Stetson has studied with a wide variety of performers including Donald Sinta, Roscoe Mitchell, Fred Frith and Henry Threadgill. He has performed regular solo concerts as well as shows with the Transmission Trio and the avant-Balkan sextet Peoples Bizarre.
