Come celebrate the release of Peter Ellenby's new photography book Every Day Is Saturday, published by Chronicle Books.. Bright Eyes. Death Cab for Cutie. The Donnas. Grandaddy. Modest Mouse. Rock photographer Peter Ellenby has captured candid moments both on stage and off of some of today's most innovative and independent performers. For over a decade, Ellenby has documented the bands and musicians that make up the radical indie rock evolution, and the result is Every Day Is Saturday, a visual tribute to a vital music scene. Bursting with passion and energy, the 100+ portraits of live performances offer a you-are-there, front row seat to the artists that have changed the face of independent music.

Every Day Is Saturday features images from many iconic Bay Area venues, including the Bottom of the Hill, Bimbos, Great American Music Hall, Fillmore, and Slim's.

Event will include live performances by Phil Crumar, and a very special collaboration between Bob Reed (Oranger & Overwhelming Colorfast) & Ryan Auffenberg
