well it's kind of too late, i think, but i suspect it's because Yulblog is held at la Cabane, so we already kind of go there regularly.

Howdy!
Cabane works more or less well for this kind of thing. They don't require reservations and are very accomodating to large groups. Very "laissez-faire". That's a french expression, one by which much of Montreal lives by, which means "let it go". As in "release your sphincter and chill".
However it is kind of a plain place, totally uncool. If you're a regular YULBlog attendee, then yer pretty much full-up on your monthly Cabane quota.
