This group is open to women who are pregnant or postpartum and are suffering from one of the following conditions:
* Anxiety
* Depression
* Obsessive-compulsive disorder tendencies
* Stress
* Post-traumatic stress
Moms are welcome to bring their baby.
Attending a support group can be very beneficial for pregnant and post-delivered moms, and postpartum mood disorders are treatable. Although this is thought to be a disorder that primarily affects women, postpartum mood disorder is a serious illness that impacts the entire family. While men do not face the same physiological changes that women face surrounding childbirth, they do face many of the same psychological changes and pressures. Without effective intervention it can cause great suffering and serious damage to families.
The group meets each Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more information, please call the ResourceLink toll-free 1.877.728.5414, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
