Latin jazz meets spoken word in a performance exploding with passion, intelligence and energy. A Latin-flavored jazz and funk concert, City of Dreams brings together a quartet of some of New York’s top Latin jazz musicians for a five-night
performance series. Led by Bronx-born David Gonzalez, City of Dreams presents an assortment of vivid poems spiced with Afro-Cuban grooves and soulful ballads. With the help of his excellent crew of musicians, Gonzalez’s poetry conjures, reflects, and inspires.
