Your projects are unique, original, and worthy of being funded and produced. This fun, dynamic 2 hour workshop will help you in sharing your passion with future collaborators and donors. Our speaker is Robbie Samuels, the award-winning co-founder of Socializing for Justice, who has extensive experience in community organizing, event logistics and fundraising. He will focus on sharpening skills such as:
Defining a pitch, and when one is needed
Practical tips on ways to engage someone in a conversation
Preparing a clear and concise description of your project
Modifying the pitch to fit the contact
Role-playing your pitch
Participants will practice pitching a project idea. Come with a project idea or just to get inspired. All genders welcome. Light refreshments are included.
