In the late summer of 1910, a group of area ranchers and farmers gathered in Pendleton to celebrate the end of harvest. This was the beginning of the World Famous Pendleton Round-Up. Now as then then, volunteers are the mainstay of the show and there a lot to do!
After the starting gun goes off at 1:15pm, seven major PRCA events are run each day on a grass arena - plus women's barrel racing, Indian relay races, wild cow milking and more! In fact, every event is run with clock-like precision. That's what has given the Round-Up the title of, The fastest moving rodeo in America." Do something that you've always wanted; Come to the Pendleton Round-Up and be a part of the celebration!!
