Pedestrian and Bicyclist Group of Livonia January 14, 2009

A group of citizens interested in walking, biking and how to make our city safer and easier to get around without a car, will be meeting in the Michigan Room in the Civic Center Library at 7pm, Wednesday, January 14.

Dave Duffield, a long time advocate of biking, will discuss the Hines and I-275 bike trails and you can hear about what MDOT is doing to improve these valuable assets in Livonia. Dave has taken on the responsibility to organize care of the I-275 trail and you can find out how to help.

The primary goal of this meeting is to form a permanent group in Livonia to advocate, promote and lobby our local and state government to expand and improve roads, sidewalks and trails for walking and biking.
