Pearl Harbor Day December 7, 2009

A memorial service will be held aboard the USS KIDD (DD-661) to honor the memory of those servicemen killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on this date in 1941. Approximately 2,400 Americans were killed on that fateful morning. Among their number were forty-five sons of Louisiana and RADM Isaac C. Kidd, Sr., after whom the USS KIDD is named.
