Peace Rocks New York May 5, 2008

Imagine an evening where some of the biggest names in business perform rock songs at one of New York City’s most treasured musical venues. Peace Rocks New York will take place on May 5, 2008 at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square…home of the old Paramount Theater where the Beatles and Elvis once performed! Business leaders in the financial services industry are presented with the opportunity to show off their hidden musical talents in a “Battle of the Bands”…all to raise vital funds to make New York schools safer!

The evening will feature a large reception-style cocktail party setting with passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and an open bar. A VIP Reception will be available to top donors and in addition to the Battle of the Bands competition, a celebrity emcee will oversee the program, which will include a raffle, live auction and an opportunity to hear about the impact that Peace Games is making on schools and communities in New York.
