Peace-In Denton September 29, 2006

The Third Annual Peace-In sponsored by Peace Action Denton, will begin with Col. Ann Wright speaking on “Dissent in a Democracy.” Wright spent 26 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. She was a diplomat in the State Department for 15 years before resigning in March 2003, protesting the then-impending invasion of Iraq. Recently she has been working with Camp Casey. Co-sponsored by UNT Peace Studies Dept. Col. Wright's presentation is free and does not require pre-registration.
