Peace Corps Friends & Family Information Session January 30, 2008

Parents, friends, and family of people interested in Peace Corps are invited to a special workshop designed to answer the questions and concerns of those whose loved ones are considering serving in the Peace Corps. The discussion will cover topics such as safety and security, staying in contact, and how volunteers change as a result of their Peace Corps experience. Potential volunteers are invited to attend to gain insights into talking with their own parents and family members about their desire to serve. Returned Peace Corps Volunteers David Leavitt (Dominican Republic), Jean Kern (Cape Verde), and Caleb Judy (Mauritania) will share their experiences as Peace Corps Volunteers as well as answer any questions.
