We'd like to let you know about an upcoming event and to invite your organization to apply to host an information table in the resource area of the Peace Corps Expo. The event will be co-sponsored by SEAPAX (Seattle Area Peace Corps Association), , the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA), and Peace Corps. SEAPAX and NPCA are, respectively, local and national groups for former Peace Corps Volunteers.

Background: The 3rd Goal of the Peace Corps is to help “promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. ” The main goal of a Peace Corps expo is to increase awareness of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) Third Goal “bring the world home” activities in local communities. This expo will bring attention to how RPCVs, both as individuals and local groups, bring their international experience home and make a difference in their communities.
Who will attend: The event will be open to the general public; community leaders; Peace Corps applicants and their families; Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs); community organizations (and their representatives) local RPCV groups, and representatives/partners of Peace Corps.
