PDX 'n [KONTROL] Art + Music + Motoring Festival Saturday March 8th 2008 March 8, 2008

PDX 'n [KONTROL] is an All Ages Festival with Live Art, Live Music and a Car show by Kingpin Car Audio & Ground Zero Motorsports. This 15 hour event will host some of the most amazing talent the West Coast has to offer.

What is [KONTROL]?
[KONTROL] is a monthly event at the End Up in San Francisco that focuses on Minimal Techno and Avant House. [KONTROL] consists of Greg Bird and resident DJs Alland Byallo, Craig Kuna, Sammy D, and Nikola Baytala. Techno is in a renaissance and [KONTROL] has been an intricate part in redefining the city's sound. It has been instrumental in bringing techno to the masses by bringing in the biggest DJ's and producers from around the world. [KONTROL] is a tight group of very close friends who love techno, play techno, and expose the San Francisco dance music community to quality, forward-thinking techno and house music; now its our turn to expose the Portland dance music community.

This festival will have:

NW Finesse Live Aerosol Art Exhibition:
Aerosol Art is a unique form of expression that doesn't often appear at the center of attention. However, it gives artists a new way to expose their ideas & characters to the public. NW Finesse will be showcasing some of their best talent, as well as making their art available for purchase during the festival.

Kevin Murray Live Glass Blowing:
Live Art Glass Blowing by Kevin Murray. He will be making custom requests on the spot, as well as having his case on display during the festival.

Kingpin Car Audio/Motoring & Ground Zero Motorsports Car Show 2pm-9pm:

Kingpin Car Audio/Motoring is the brain child of Jason Kranitz. Located in Wilsonville, OR Jason and his crew create audio/video masterpieces everyday. Jason has been featured in Car Audio & Electronics, Mobile Entertainment, and Mobile Electronics Magazines for his award winning installations. He has also been voted MTX's "Biggest Baddest Installer" as well as being honored in ME Magazine's "Industry's Top 12 Installers."

Ground Zero Motorsports
Ground Zero Motorsports is home of the 9 sec. Supra and has
experience in both service and custom fabrication. They specialize in
building custom cars, drag cars, drift cars, racecars and exotics. See
how Ground Zero can add some high performance into your life.
