Tuesday, May 10 - visual arts fair at the Building 3 outdoor fountain mall with Rock Creek instructors demonstrating stone carving, kiln work, and printmaking at 10am. At 12:30, the campus will be treated to an interactive music event in the outdoor fountain mall between Buildings 2 and 3, by The Rock and Roll Camp for Girls, in which audience members can try their hand at the instruments. Evening performances start at 6pm in the Building 3 Forum, room 114, with three world music groups, Balkan band Kafana Klub, Infinite Bossa and Japanese artist Yukiko Vossen. Between the two sets storyteller Alton Chung will entertain the crowd.
Wednesday, May 11 - Lunchtime concert in the outdoor fountain mall. Oregon Universal Zulu Nation, a multidisciplinary, multimedia hip-hop group, will give a performance, which involves music and painting simultaneously.
Thursday, May 12 -
10am - Film discussion with Enie Vaisburd. Building 3/109.
2pm and 6pm - Students, faculty, staff and community members will also have two opportunities to hear readings by renowned poet Keetje Kuipers and fiction writer Scott Nadelson. Teaching Learning Center (Building 3/102).
4pm - Student readings, hip-hop club dance and musical composition performances. Bldg 3 Mall.
