Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Family Picnic August 21, 2011

Paws for Life Rescue’s second annual “Paws in the Park” Alumni Reunion, Dog Walk & Family Picnic. $10/person over age 12. Dogs and kids are free. Registration: noon-12:40. Walk begins at 12:45 SHARP. Activities include: half-mile dog walk, picnic lunch, shop the vendor area, including Premier Jewelry, Camp Bow Wow and Scentsy, face painting, balloon toss, kids’ playground, chair massages, 50/50 raffles, volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, bean bag toss, canoe/paddleboat rentals, guessing game to win a prize, for-fun agility course, nail clipping, doggy massages, bobbing for milkbones, kiss your owner contest, paw art, canine musical chairs, win Detroit Tigers tickets, $10 microchipping available to first 24 dogs who sign-up at the Registration table, adoptable pets, games, prizes and more!

If you'd like to sign-up to participate as a dog walker, a vendor or a sponsor, please email cassie@pawsforliferescue.org. Or come out to the park on August 21st and register that day. Please join us for a day of fun. The park charges $5 per car, which participants will pay at the gate, so car-pooling is recommended.
