Mooney was head writer for "The Chappelle Show" where he also appeared as "Negrodamus" and in the sketch "Ask A Black Dude." He was head writer for Redd Foxx in "Sanford and Son," Jimmy Walker in "Good Times" and head writer for the immortal Richard Pryor, including Richard's films "Live on the Sunset Strip," "Is It Something I Said" and his unforgettable appearances on "Saturday Night Live." Mooney also created 'Homie D. Clown' for Fox's "In Living Color."
