The West is Here features photographs by Denver-based artist Patti Hallock that present a haunting and thought-provoking vision of the American West. Traveling through New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, and other Western states, Hallock captures devastating landscapes featuring gorgeous ruins, expansive fields and empty highways, suggesting the West is a place of both progress and deterioration.
The West is Here was organized by Adam Lerner and will be on view in the David and Laura Merage Foundation Photography Gallery. This will be Patti Hallock’s (b. 1970) first solo museum exhibition.
