Patron Party Supporting the 14th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational September 9, 2012

Join Laguna Art Museum and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) for the exclusive Patron Party in conjunction with the 14th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational. The event will take place at the beautiful St. Regis, Monarch Beach located along the pristine shores of the Pacific Ocean in Dana Point. The St. Regis is a Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond awarded resort.

Guests and fellow collectors will mix and mingle over a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the Lobby Lounge on the beautiful Sunset Terrace with expansive views of the ocean and enjoy live music. In addition, they will be treated to a painting demonstration by participating plein air artist Michael Obermeyer. As a very special thank you to the patrons at this event, each attendee will automatically be enrolled in an opportunity drawing for a chance to win a painting by Micheal Obermeyer.

Proceeds from this event will help fund the important plein air educational events, including the Kids’ Paint Out, the LCAD Next Generation Paint Out, and artist demonstrations. In addition, proceeds will benefit the museum’s exhibition and education programs, and will also allow LPAPA to continue to bring opportunities to artists and promote art in the community.
