" Patriot Pen" and "Voice of Democracy" November 3, 2009

The VFW held a successful Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy annual contest. All entries were judged at the post on November 2, with judging and dinner. A greatful thank you to our judges James McDonald, Judy Hargett, and Darla Reeder. The 79 essay and recorded entries were thoughtful and well done. It was a hard job to pick the winners. The names of the winners will be published soon.
