Paths to Zero – Striving Toward a Nuclear-Free World

The Federation of American Scientist will honor Raymond Jeanloz, Professor of Earth and Planetary Science and of Astronomy at the University of California – Berkeley, with the Hans Bethe Award for his demonstration of the reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile in the presence of a moratorium on nuclear testing.
Following the award presentation, Raymond Jeanloz will be joined by Sidney Drell, Joseph Cirincione, Harold P. Smith, Jr., Ivan Oelrich and Gloria Duffy for a panel discussion on the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) and the FAS Project “Paths to Zero.”
