The Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review is pleased to present "The Federal Circuit as an Institution," a symposium dedicated to patent law. The live symposium is scheduled to occur next Friday, October 30, 2009.

The live symposium will be composed of four panels, each on a different aspect of the Federal Circuit. It will feature renowned IP professors from all over the U.S., including Loyola's own Professor Lee Petherbridge, as well as a few IP practitioners and the Honorable Marilyn L. Huff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Many of the speakers at this event have also submitted written works that will be published in the third issue of Volume 43 of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.

The Honorable S. Jay Plager of U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is the keynote speaker.

The Law Review invites you to attend this impressive event on the history and the success of the Federal Circuit as an institution. For your convenience, I have attached the Symposium schedule.
