Based on the time-honored books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Patchwork: The Little House Life of Laura Ingalls Wilder is a tale of outdoor adventure and pioneer spirit that will inspire todays students as it has for more than 70 years. A Playhouse Arts in Education event, the play will take place at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Teachers are going to ask students to write an essay about life during Pioneer days, and the winner will receive a savings bond from Union Savings Bank as well as a special treat on stage at the Playhouse. This production is presented by Theatre IV and is sponsored by The Philip H. and Christine Lodewick Foundation, Union Savings Bank and the Wadsworth Lewis Trust Fund.
