Pat Metheny began as a jazz musician in 1974. His trademark playing style blends loose and flexible articulation of a horn player with sensible harmonies as in traditional jazz. After two consecutive yet wildly different solo recordings (Orchestrion and 2011's Grammy-winning 'What's It All About'), guitarist Pat Metheny returns with a new quartet, Unity Band featuring Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez and Ben Williams.
