As the principal songwriter for The Smithereens, Pat DiNizio up-ends the business of music via his intimate, non-traditional "Living Room Tours," part of his revolutionary Patrons and Artists Together program. In 1993, as an actor, Pat made his big screen debut appearing in the role of "Sid", in writer/director Cameron Crowe's hit Warner Brothers film 'Singles' and in 2003, DiNizio wrote and directed an independent film entitled 'King Leisure,' 'SOB,' a comedic, semi-autobiographical hip hop-umentary about an aging rock star that successfully reinvents himself while challenging many of the traditional practices of the music industry. Pat was also the official Reform Party Candidate for U.S. Senate in New Jersey in the presidential election year of 2000.
