Pastora in Pena Flamenca II May 12, 2007

Experience the sensual rhythms of Flamenco as Anna Menendez presents Pastora in Peña Flamenca II with special guests, internationally acclaimed flamenco dancer Edwin Aparicio, and Alfonso Cid, Carmel Shelly and Behzad Habibzai at American Dance Institute on Saturday, May 12th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 13th at 5 p.m.

A flamenco dancer based in the Washington DC area, Anna Menendez’s extensive performance repertoire includes appearances with The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, The Detroit Symphony, The Washington National Opera, The Baltimore Opera Company and the famed Albéniz Theater in Madrid.
