Please join mixed media artist Michele Brody for a fun filled day of making your own paper from scratch and breathing new life into your recyclable paper products. Ms. Brody will focus on the ingenuity and composition of works from the Museum’s Soviet Nonconformist Art Collection to direct students on learning how to form paper sheets from raw pulp that can then be transformed into exciting works of art through the incorporation of found images and textures right from your paper recycling bin. Come dressed to get a little wet, and leave with a fresh way to express yourself and be green at the same time.
