Passing Hats for Japan Earthquake Relief April 2, 2011

Kids and their parents will pass the hats and raise money for Japan earthquake relief on Saturday, April 2. The effort, sponsored by Tasti D-Lite of Arizona, will ask families of the Cal Ripken teams to pass hats of their own and make contributions to the relief effort. All money will be collected and sent to American Red Cross, earmarked for Japan. Along with the financial contribution, Diamondbacks hats will be sent to distribute among children who remain in shelters. For every contribution of $5, parents will be given a card for one free Tasti D-Lite cup or cone, good for use at the Scottsdale location.
