Party with Viv!
Friday, March 30, 5–8:45 p.m. at the de Young Museum

On Friday, March 30, celebrate the return of Friday nights at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park from 5–8:45 p.m.! The special exhibition, Vivienne Westwood: 36 Years in Fashion, stays open so that you can view this extraordinary collection while you enjoy live music from the Shotgun Wedding Hip-Hop Symphony. In honor of Westwood’s revival of the historic corset, Autumn Adamme of Dark Garden (San Francisco’s premier corset atelier) presents her custom-made corsets for visitors to try on. There will also be a showing of the film, South Bank Show, “Vivienne Westwood,” beginning at 7 p.m. The Party with Viv continues every Friday night through June 10 with a special admission price of $10, and members are admitted free. Tickets are available online at www.museumtix.com and visit http://www.famsf.org/deyoung/calendar/day.asp?calendarid=2814&day=3%2F26%2F2007 for more information.
