On May 25, the de Young Museum will be the center for fashion, music, and art when the Guardian hosts the Friday Night Party. Cutting-edge DJ’s spin aural delights while local designers stage an eye-popping array of couture, all in conjunction with the museum’s exclusive North American presentation of Vivienne Westwood: 36 Years in Fashion, a retrospective of the British iconoclast’s work. The inventive local fashion designers exhibiting their work this Friday include: “Kinetic: Emerging San Francisco Fashion,” Dema Grim, and Nooworks. Music from DJ David Katz Nelson, Lou Lou & the Guitarfish, and mashup pioneers Adrian & the Mysterious D will electrify the de Young’s Wilsey Court. Don’t miss the unique cocktail party at the de Young Museum from 5 to 8:45 pm Friday, May 25!
