Party for the Planet: Earth Day at the El Paso Zoo April 19, 2008

The El Paso Zoo is hosting this Earth-Friendly event. We only have one
Earth and we'll show you how to treat it right! It's a party for the
planet - and you're invited! We've asked businesses and organizations
from around El Paso to feature their "Green" practices - so, you'll get
tips on how to make greener choices and what you can do everyday to make
a difference. We'll learn all about recycling with the city's Blue
Bins. EPZoo's education department will show you how animal habitats are
disappearing, then you can "Take Action" in our conservation stations to
help save our planet's animals. See high mileage cars from Rudolph
Honda. Safe Communities will be here 10:00 - 1:00 offering child car
safety seat inspections. Plus, great food in the Grasslands café, kids
activities and live karate demonstrations! Dance to African Drums and Bella
Fusion belly dancers (11:30 - 1:00) and listen to the rock-a-billy
sounds of Raw Deal (1:00-4:00).
