Particle is another in the new breed of jam bands that have a penchant for improvising electronically, even when more traditional instruments actually carry the "groove." Charlie Hitchcock, Particle's guitarist, is one to watch. Add Moog-sampling, keyboardist Steve Molitz and a proficient rhythm section and you've got what the band itself calls "space-porn-funk."
