Annual 10 day countywide event. Thousands visit the covered bridges and small communities during the 10 days. Entertainment, food, shopping and the shining stars are 31 historic covered bridges in Parke County "The Covered Bridge Capital of the World". Headquartered in Rockville, Indiana with 8 other communities in the county participating. Billie Creek Village, Bloomingdale, Bridgeton, Mansfield, Mecca, Montezuma, Rosedale and Tangier each offering visitors a delightful visit to Parke County.
Bus Tours run daily from the headquarters to the outlying communities with stops along the way at covered bridges. $10.00 per person, Under 12 is $7.00 and lap sitters are free.

I have been going to the bridge festival for the past 25 yrs. It get's better & bigger every year. The food is second to none also
