Parenting in the Smart Phone Age March 9, 2013

The Art of Living Foundation is launching a "Stress-Free Violence Free Community" campaign on March 24th. As part of the pre-launch events, we are hosting an interactive panel discussion "Parenting in the Smart Phone Age". The panel consists of experts in parenting, education and many other background share their experiences.

This is a community event and is open to all, please feel free to invite your fellow parents and neighbors.

Join a panel of experts from different brackgrounds to understand the influence of gadgets on young children & teens and how can we as parents handle these issues. Some of the topics discussed:
1. Managing stress due to expectations, over exposure & peer pressure.
2. Influence of violence in video games & movies.
3. Influence of recent spate of violence in schools.
4. Ensuring our children have 'down time' away from Internet.
5. Cyber bullying, Sexting, online stalking etc.

Join musicians, prominent community leaders, government officials, educators, activists, and other citizens in honoring a commitment to a stress-free, violence-free society. Featuring special keynote address by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and an opening act by a local Bay Area band. Stand with thousands of others to create a stress-free violence-free community.
